Humane Societies of Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties Benefit Golf Tournament Sept. 12

4th Annual PARS FOR PAWS Golf Tournament fund-raiser on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Saddle Creek Golf Resort in Copperopolis. Proceeds go to helping the animals. Registration at 11 a.m., shotgun start at 1 p.m., followed by dinner, awards and raffle. Cost is $125 per golfer. Additional dinners are $30 each. Jackson Elks Benefit Golf Tournament at Mace Meadow Sept. 16

Tee time 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The cost is $65 per person and includes golf, cart, tee prizes, longest drive contests for men and women and closest-to-the-pin. Tri-tip dinner and awards at the Elks Lodge on Kennedy Flat Road in Martell. Non-golfers who wish to participate in the dinner at 3 p.m. may purchase dinner tickets for $15 per person. This event is open to Elks members, their families, friends and guests. The proceeds will go to support Elks charities in Amador County, including youth activities, veterans' assistance, Interfaith Food Bank, disabled children's therapy and others. Amador High School Golf Team Benefit Golf Tournament Sept. 26

Mace Meadow Golf Club, Pioneer. Tee time 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, with shotgun start. Barbecue lunch to follow. Cost is $75 per player. Prizes for low gross and low net teams, closest-to-the-hole and long drive. Mt. Zion Missions and Special Projects Tournament at Mace Meadow Oct. 3

5th Annual Missions and Special Projects Golf Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 3. Noon registration, shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cost is $75 and includes green fees, golf cart, tri-tip dinner and prizes. The dinner following the tournament will be at Mt. Zion Church in Pine Grove and includes a silent auction and special speaker. All proceeds go toward outreach projects. Angels Camp Centennial Rotary Club Education Fund Golf Tournament Oct. 8



Angels Camp Rotary will host its fourth annual golf tournament at Greenhorn Creek Golf Course on Thursday, Oct. 8, to benefit the club's education fund, which provides scholarships for the youth of Calaveras County. There will be a shotgun start at 1 p.m., followed by dinner in Camp's Restaurant, with entertainment and awards. Cost is $100 per player.
